Al-Muʾāhid teaches Arabic and Qurʾānic recitation online. Everything is pre-recorded and self-paced. Study at your own pace while still having guidance, accountability, and a clear path to follow.

The aim is to understand the Qurʾān through the Arabic language itself, with full ability in the four skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. From there you can understand the works and texts of the scholars directly, and recite the Book of Allah عَزَّ وَجَلَّ with precision, as it was sent down to the Messenger ﷺ through Jibreel.
No live classes. Pre-recorded lessons allow you to study when it suits you, rewatch difficult lessons, learn without pressure, and progress consistently.
Small accountability groups, revision partners, conversation practice, and a queries box straight to your teacher.
Your teacher holds an ijāzah, received from her own teachers.
You open your Qurʾān and understand more than you did before. You listen to a lesson and recognise the Arabic being spoken. You read a sentence from a classical text and understand its structure. You recite the Qurʾān with greater confidence, understanding the rules of Tajweed and applying them correctly.
This programme was built to help you reach that point, step by step, in a way that is manageable and sustainable.
A structured, self-paced journey from complete beginner to confidence in Arabic and Tajweed. No live classes. No rushing to attend lessons. No feeling overwhelmed or left behind. Study at your own pace while still having guidance, accountability, and a clear path to follow.

Tasḥīḥ al-Tilāwah is a year of recorded recitation. Each recording models the Qurʾān recited as it should be recited, shows the Tajweed rules where they occur, and names the mistakes reciters most often fall into, so you hear both the error and its correction in one place. You recite alongside, in your own time, at your own pace. Kept up steadily, it carries you through the whole Qurʾān in twelve months.
A recording every day, excluding Fridays. Two and a half juzʾ each month. The full Qurʾān in one year, thirty juzʾ across twelve months. Delivered as Zoom recordings to a private members' channel. Begins this Saturday.
Correct, measured recitation to recite alongside. The Tajweed rules shown where they occur: Idhaar, Ikhfaa, Idghaam, Iqlaab, the madd, and more. The common mistakes named and corrected, so you can avoid them.
Those memorising or revising who want correct Tajweed modelled every day. Those completing the Qurʾān over a year with attention to sound recitation. Those who cannot commit to live class times and prefer to follow recordings.
Please note. This is a recordings programme. There are no live classes, and no personal, individual corrections of your own recitation. The corrections you hear are the mistakes reciters commonly make, demonstrated for everyone to benefit from. You keep pace with the daily recordings and recite along.
These recordings are prepared by a ḥāfidhah holding an ijāzah, trained in Arabic in Cairo. In keeping with Al-Muʾāhid, the work is faceless. Your attention stays on the Qurʾān and its correct recitation, not on the reciter. All of it is offered for the sake of Allah عَزَّ وَجَلَّ, that the Qurʾān be recited as the Prophet ﷺ taught it to be recited.
